Recently, Hypixel added a 1v1 gamemode. It's a lot of fun, but with the lobby system, it's hard to challenge your friends to a game of it because you'll most likely end up with strangers. There are three possible solutions to this:
The first solution requires changing the lobby system. Instead of there being 16 people in a lobby, then sending them all to random games, there should only be however many people is needed for the specific gamemode. For example, if people are waiting for a 1v1, there should only be two people in a certain lobby. This would ensure that a party always gets in the same game.
The second solution is a "/arena challenge (gamemode) (Party/Player)" command. It would challenge another party(or player, depending if you're challenging for a 1v1). For example, you could type in "/arena challenge 1v1 Hypixel". Its simple enough: you type in the command, a message pops up to the other player, and they either accept or decline the challenge. If the player is in a game, this message will not pop up until the end of the game. It does NOT provide coin benefit, unless Hypixel can make some type of detection system for coin farmers. I think that this suggestion doesn't just apply for Arena Brawl, but it could become a network-wide thing(for example, /warlords challenge (gamemode) (Party Only)).
A third possible solution could be private servers. This would obviously require MVP so that there aren't ten thousand servers at once. Check out this suggestion about private game servers(not my suggestion, but it's a great one).

imo this isn't even neccesary. Just make it if you join 1v1 in a party of 2, those two players will get warped into the 16 player waiting lobby like normal, then they would be against each other. No coins gained for this match.

I've tried this. It only works about 50% of the time.

What? It isn't a thing. I'm saying it should be. If it worked for you, you literally just got lucky and you randomly happened to be paired with the person in your party ![]()

I'm not going to say your grammar sucks, but I can't even understand the post. Can you clarify?

Please add /challenge... Also maybe a /spectate? Could make 1v1 community tournaments possible again! ![]()
